Pierre Jacob got a Ph.D. (2020) and a MSc (2016) in Computer Science at ETIS (CY Paris University, ENSEA, CNRS). He graduated from the french engineering school ENSEA (Paris Area, France) with a MSc in Electronics, Electrotechnics and Computer Science (2016).
From Oct. 2020 to Sept. 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Czech Technical University in Prague in the Visual Recognition Group under the supervision of Ondrej Chum. From Oct. 2021 to Aug. 2022, he was an Assistant Lecturer (ATER in France) at ENSEA.
Since Sept. 2022, he has a permanent position as Assistant Professor at Bordeaux University in LaBRI research lab. He works on fine-grained image analysis and on graph neural networks applied on event-based cameras.
